NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Employees Action Movement (TEAM-PAC) endorses Steven Dickerson, R-Nashville, for Senate District 20.
“Working to help elect candidates who support state employees is the central goal for TEAM-PAC,” TEAM-PAC Administrative Committee Chair Patricia Bowman said. “During his time in office, Sen. Dickerson has repeatedly shown he is willing to work with state employees on reasonable solutions to important issues, including his recent sponsorship of legislation to pay for the funeral expenses of correctional officers killed in the line of duty, and his considerable work on TSEA’s Longevity for All and Burden of Proof legislation. Sen. Dickerson also recently announced that paid family leave for state employees is a major focus for him over the next year. We appreciate and are grateful to Sen. Dickerson for his commitment to supporting state employees which is why we are happy to endorse Steven Dickerson for Senate District 20.”
